There was a deposit for the key that required cash, it would have been nice to have been reminded ahead of time, but they took US dollars so it ended up being ok.

Nice hotel, good breakfast, helpful stuff. If you rent a car, there is enough parking space around the hotel. The pool looked nice, although we didnt use it.
Areas for improvement:
It is a bit far from central Apia, although with a car a couple of minutes.
